The Kris Kringle Fair is UUCR’s biggest fellowship event and fundraiser of the year. When the fair comes around each year, everyone at UUCR organizes, donates, bakes, cooks, sings, plays music, greets, staffs tables, or shops – working side by side to make this daylong fair a much-anticipated and enjoyed event for the church, for Reading, and for surrounding communities. In 2022, a small group of dedicated volunteers made a “welcome to church” fair a great success. This year, we are proud to announce we are able to bring a new, hybrid version of the fair back to UUCR – with both online and in-person, outdoor sections of our fair!

Fair Favorites
Our in-person, outdoor booths will include our Country Store, Baked Goods, Boutique, Coffee and Chocolate, Raffles, Toys, and Attic Treasures! Our online stores will include Jewelry, Silent Auction, Coffee and Chocolate and more!
Raffle Quilt: Each year the UUCR Quilters design and create a quilt for auction at the fair. See Quilt information and picture below!

Donations
Donations will be accepted beginning on Sunday, November 12 from 2 – 4 pm.
Fair Week Drop Off Times for your Donations:
  • Sunday, November 12th from 2 to 5 pm
  • Monday, November 13th from 10 am to 5 pm
  • Tuesday, November 14th from 10 am to 2 pm
  • Wednesday, November 15th from 10 am to 8 pm
  • Thursday, November 16th from 10 am to 7 pm
  • Friday, November 17 from 10 am to 5 pm (Baked Goods ONLY until 7 pm)

Your Support 
Opportunities to help our in-person fair:
  • Now – November 11th: Get your fair donations ready!
  • November 11 to 17th: Sign up to help with an area of the fair to help sort and price donations and help set up tables
  • Friday, November 17: Late in the day, join the Big Tent crew to help set up the tent!
  • Saturday, November 18th:
    • 8:00 – 10:00 am See the sign up to help put up tables and canopies across campus to help create our fair
    • 8:00 – 10:00 am See the sign up to help carry donated fair items from inside buildings to their designated booths
    • 10:00 – 2:00 pm See the signup for staffing a booth an hour or two during the fair
    • 2:00 – 4:00 pm Once the fair is over, unsold items will need to be brought indoors, as well as tables and canopies
  • Week of November 19th: Help to transport unsold goods to designated local charities
