Raffle Quilt
“Our Tree of Helping Hands”
Inspired by the Children’s Affirmation we recite each week: “We are the Church of the Open Mind, The Loving Heart, and the Helping Hands” our raffle quilt for the 2023 Kris Kringle Fair is dedicated to the memory beloved Director of Religious Education, Sally Liebermann (1961-2023).
The quilt features “leaves” made from the hand prints of 135 different members of the UUCR community. It was pieced by Molly Bicking, Lynne Champion, Kitty Craig-Comin, Rachel Fetters, Helen Goetz, Nikki Goetz, Diane Joe and Susanne Sullivan. Extra fabric donated by Junelle Barras.
