Moving Forward after Covid and Re-engaging Our Community
To share again in the fellowship, friendships, and spiritual experiences that we shared at UUCR prior to the COVID pandemic, UUCR remains committed to a fully re-opened, re-kindled, and re-engaged UUCR experience. This includes renewing our aim to provide universal access. Services, religious education, programs, and fellowship will be offered both online and in-person.
Our Re-opening Team meets regularly to assess current situations and develop steps to promote our congregation’s health and safety.
Update of September 11, 2022
Worship services are offered in-person and will continue to be simultaneously live-streamed via YouTube each week.
- Wearing masks at church is recommended but optional.
- Coming to church healthy is mandatory, in order to keep our congregation well. As a gathered community of faith, it remains our job to take care of one another. If you are not feeling well, please enjoy worship via YouTube.
- If you have been to church recently and have since been diagnosed with COVID, we ask that you complete our short online form to notify us so that we may contact-trace and notify others.
Our Safe-Gathering parameters:
Vaccination:
-
- While we will not ask for proof of vaccination status of those attending services and events, our clear expectation is that all who are eligible to be vaccinated will be.
- Our staff, worship leaders, and anyone spending time with our children and youth are required to be vaccinated.
Masks:
-
- We do not require that congregants wear masks during Sunday morning service.
- For any other gatherings, classes, or meetings, please refer to the guidance provided by the leader or coordinator.
Sunday Services:
-
- Sit as close to, or as far from, others as is comfortable or as those around you are comfortable.
Visiting Campus:
-
- Continue to schedule an appointment in advance before coming to campus. Contact our Member Services and Volunteer Coordinator.
We look forward to engaging with you, and to nurturing all of the ways we each participate in the life of this congregation.
