Joining Hands during Sunday Service

To share again in the fellowship, friendships, and spiritual experiences that we shared at UUCR prior to the COVID pandemic, UUCR remains committed to a fully re-opened, re-kindled, and re-engaged UUCR experience. This includes renewing our aim to provide universal access. Services, religious education, programs, and fellowship will be offered both online and in-person.

Our Re-opening Team meets regularly to assess current situations and develop steps to promote our congregation’s health and safety.

Update of September 11, 2022

Worship services are offered in-person and will continue to be simultaneously live-streamed via YouTube each week.

  • Wearing masks at church is recommended but optional.
  • Coming to church healthy is mandatory, in order to keep our congregation well. As a gathered community of faith, it remains our job to take care of one another. If you are not feeling well, please enjoy worship via YouTube.
  • If you have been to church recently and have since been diagnosed with COVID, we ask that you complete our short online form to notify us so that we may contact-trace and notify others.

Our Safe-Gathering parameters:

Vaccination:

    • While we will not ask for proof of vaccination status of those attending services and events, our clear expectation is that all who are eligible to be vaccinated will be.
    • Our staff, worship leaders, and anyone spending time with our children and youth are required to be vaccinated.

Masks:

    • We do not require that congregants wear masks during Sunday morning service.
    • For any other gatherings, classes, or meetings, please refer to the guidance provided by the leader or coordinator.

Sunday Services:

    • Sit as close to, or as far from, others as is comfortable or as those around you are comfortable.

Visiting Campus:

We look forward to engaging with you, and to nurturing all of the ways we each participate in the life of this congregation.

For questions or concerns about participating in-person or virtually, please contact our Member Services and Volunteer Coordinator.
