Greetings, Beloved Community!

We have two joyful announcements and an invitation to celebrate.

We are delighted to announce that Reverend Dr. Laura Solomon has accepted our congregation’s offer to be our minister through June 2025. She begins her full-time ministry with us this week, adding to her worship and pastoral care responsibilities those of congregational administration. We are very excited to enter this ministry with Rev. Laura, to include her more deeply in UUCR’s rich heritage and to re-commit to our congregation’s purpose and direction. Welcome, Rev. Laura, we’re delighted you’re with us!

With gratitude and admiration for all the ways she cares for us, including serving as Interim Congregational Administrator, we are now honoring our June 2021 commitment to Melissa Martin – that she can return to her pre-pandemic and much-loved role of Member Services and Volunteer Coordinator. With pandemic concerns reduced, we can again focus on our membership and in inviting new members to join us. Melissa wants everyone to know she is glad for her term as Interim Congregational Administrator, and that she is eager to return to her role of Member Services and Volunteer Coordinator. She has ideas she’s been storing up for us. Thank you, Melissa, you are a treasure!
