A special worship service lead by the Pastoral Care Team, for those coping with grief, loss, and other struggles during the winter holiday season. There’s often grief and sorrow related to Christmas and the holidays being a little different than they used to be. This special service will be a chance to acknowledge that this can be a tough season for many of us.
Water Communion: The Self, the Other and the Stranger Our service this Sunday will bring us on a journey where you will be asked to re-visit your first time at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading and imagine what it is like for those who visit as strangers.
9:15 and 11. Fresh challenges await us each year as we revisit the vision of MLK Jr. Can we “dream a world”? Today’s service will inspire us with Justice Bingo for all ages and music from the combined choirs, UUCR’s choir and The Halalisa Singers. This is a week to bring a friend to church!
9:15 and 11:00 am. A special Holiday gift for all this Sunday! Our choir presents choral masterpiece “Magnificat” by John Rutter. Under the direction of Mary Cunningham and accompanied by Margaret Scharff, UUCR choir members and friends will raise their voices in a joyful chorus of 40 strong.
