A bride and groom smiling happily on the sanctuary

Congratulations on this special milestone in your life! Our Minister, the Rev. Hank Peirce, is glad to serve as wedding celebrant for friends or members of the congregation, and  for other couples from the wider community wishing to be married in our sanctuary. Working with Rev. Peirce, couples can create a wedding ceremony that speaks intimately and eloquently to their personal circumstances.

As a Welcoming Congregation, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading joyously celebrates marriages between all people regardless of sexuality or gender expressions. We also honor religious pluralism and approach all interfaith marriages with respect, sensitivity, and understanding. Rev. Peirce will happily join with co-officiants who may want to share in solemnizing and celebrating the couple’s commitment.
