Bear Witness on Wednesday, May 6
As we approach our 55th consecutive week of Bearing Witness, we invite you to join us and be part of this ongoing movement. Learn more about theseimpactful efforts here: https://bearingwitnessne.org/
Tomorrow we will once again gather to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to immigrant communities. Whether you’ve attended before or are joining for the first time, your presence matters.
There’s no need to bring a sign, many will be available to borrow. If you do choose to bring your own, please keep messaging aligned with pro-immigrant and constitutional values. Our focus remains on peaceful, respectful advocacy, so we ask participants to ignore any counter-protesters who may attempt to provoke engagement.
Carpooling Options Available
To make participation more accessible, a volunteer-led carpool is available from a nearby parking location. If you’d like to join, you can sign up here: https://tally.so/r/GxrQkO. Additional parking details are available on our website.
Donate Food to Support Immigrants
Direct aid is a vital part of our work. Each week, we collect and distribute food both at our on-site table outside the ICE office and through community partners like Open Table.
You can contribute by donating groceries. Our list of needed items is updated weekly. Donations can be left at the designated drop-off location. Financial contributions are also welcome via Venmo: tinyurl.com/mw5jf74n.
Take Action Beyond the Standout
There are many ways to deepen your impact:
- Support Massachusetts families affected by ICE through Operation Milkweed.
- Advocate for policy change by urging state leaders to support the People’s Protect Act. Read more here.
