As the deep, golden days of late summer arrive, you are warmly invited to join our casual summer circle to celebrate Lammas (or Lughnasadh) — the traditional festival of the first harvest.

Lammas marks the bittersweet threshold where summer reaches its full, ripe maturity and the very first fruits of our labor are ready to be gathered.

Inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass, we will explore the “Honorable Harvest” and the power of mutual flourishing.

An Interactive Ritual: 

In honor of the season, we invite you to bring a physical object that represents a craft, skill, hobby, or project you have tended this year (a gardening trowel, a knitting needle, a paintbrush, a running shoe, or even a laptop).

Together, we will build a unique “Altar of Skills,” pausing to reflect on how we use the harvest of our minds and hands to sustain one another and our community.
