This might seem to diminish the inherent worth and dignity of every person, but in fact, it glorifies our interdependence. On this Sunday, we’ll reflect on emergence and adaptive systems-like flocks of birds and ant colonies-and how our own lives take place among a wider, rich life.

Bio:
Rev. Jake Morrill is a product of the religious education program of the Tennessee Valley UU Church. Since 2003, he has served as Lead Minister of the Oak Ridge UU Church, outside Knoxville. A former Chaplain in the US Army Reserve, Jake is currently Executive Director of the UU Christian Fellowship. He and his wife, Molly, have two school-age kids.
