When political violence and harsh rhetoric shatter our sense of safety, belonging can become fraught. We may be tempted to choose fear, to circle our wagons tightly, and to lash out in anger at those who hurt us. How do we instead begin to grieve what’s been lost and return to our deepest values, to our neighbors, to what it means to be human together.

 

Bio

Rev. Wendy is a Unitarian Universalist Minister who served congregations in Eastern Massachusetts for 22 years. She is currently the Executive Director of Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program in Lincoln, MA, and a candidate for a Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Lesley University. Wendy lives in Arlington with her wife and daughter and their two dogs and two cats.
