When fear is used to dominate and oppress, love is how we resist. In the 60s they were putting flowers in gun barrels. Today ICE agents are meeting protesters in the form of giant green frogs. Valerie Kaur says, “When we choose to be brave with our love, when we choose to refuse to leave anyone outside of our circle of care, that’s when love becomes revolutionary. I believe Revolutionary Love is the call of our times.”This week our service is led by returning guest minister, Rev. Linda Goodman. Rev. Linda is an ordained interfaith minister. Her spiritual path meandered through many faith traditions, and she enjoyed 30 years as an active Unitarian Universalist, offering music and lay-led worship services. Most recently she has served as Presiding Minister, spiritual mentor, and music minister at the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple in Amherst, NH. Now retired from full-time ministry, she is more actively enjoying a circuit of guest ministry at UU churches throughout New England.
Service begins at 10am with a Special New Visitor Welcome to follow during our social hour. All are welcome – join us!
