This Sunday, guest minister Rev. Fred Small will offer a homily titled “Making Meaning of Minnesota: From Bystander to Upstander.” Recently returned from Minnesota, Rev. Fred will share a profound personal story and reflect on how we respond, individually and collectively, when faced with suffering, injustice, and uncertainty.
The service will also include space for those gathered to name their worries, concerns, and grief, holding them together in community and compassion. Join us for a morning of reflection, courage, and shared humanity.
Bio: A Unitarian Universalist pastor, singer-songwriter, and former environmental lawyer, Rev. Small serves as Minister for Climate Justice at Arlington Street Church, Boston. Rev. Small continues to preach for us monthly during this 2025-2026 church year.
