Our Universalist forebears preached that a loving God could hold us all, that no one would be left behind. That older Universalism could hold the whole world, but still claimed a monopoly on truth. Today we express our Universalism through our acknowledgement of the web of life, and in our commitment to the worth and dignity of every person. This foundation supports both the one and the many, the entire whole as well as the distinct parts, allowing that distinctiveness to shine.
