Sharing in Small Group Ministry:
A 3-Part Series on Wednesday Evenings; May 11 & 25 and June 8
Our Wednesday Evening Sanctuary returns this month with a 3-part adult opportunity for conversation and connection! Returning to the fullness of church life includes the ministry of small groups, also known to many of you as Chalice Circles. In order to begin new circles of connection, we need facilitators willing to hold this loving ministry. We also want to offer opportunities to folks to dip their toes in the water, as a participant or a leader or co-leader.
Our Ministerial Intern Katie McQuage-Loukas will offer this short series with some staff support. You may join as a small group ministry participant and also have the opportunity to practice facilitating a small group with Katie’s support. This group will meet at 6:30 pm on three Wednesday evenings – 5/11, 5/25 and 6/8.
Our Sanctuary will be open for candle lighting and reflection at 6:00 pm on each of these evenings, and folks are invited to arrive early to enjoy that time and space, if they wish. You may also join the group directly when the program session begins in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. We acknowledge that this timing may overlap with dinner hour for some, and all are welcome to bring and eat their food, as necessary. Please sign up here, and indicate if you are interested in learning together how to facilitate small groups.
