Lifespan Religious Education This Week

We hope you will join our Sunday Service streamed live online from the Sanctuary. This week we welcome our own Reverend Laura Cavicchio, who brings grace and memory and hope to worship as she reminds us that our community, like a garden, grows with care and tending. And after church friends of all ages are invited to campus for Pumpkin Fun outdoors! Visit between 12:30 – 2:00 pm to decorate pumpkins and celebrate this lovely fall season with church friends. Bring your own or find a sugar pumpkin in our yard to dress up and take home.
This week our youth in Grades 7-12 are invited to our first Multifaith Spirit Youth Group gathering with our friends at First Congregational Church. We’ll meet there at 4:00 pmfor fun and more pumpkins. Details about drop off, safe practices and pick up are in family email.
As the days shorten and October draws to a close we will honor a turning of seasons with our traditional “All Souls Service” on Sunday, October 31st. We will set an Altar of Remembrance with photos, mementos, messages representing those whom we have loved who have passed from this world. We are opening Evening Sanctuary for several nights before the service granting friends of all ages a chance to visit our sanctuary in the evenings to place items on the altar that represent your loved ones. All items can be picked up on Sunday after service or with individual arrangements made for the following week.
