Special Note: Water Communion and One Service Time
PLANNING AHEAD: Water Communion Service on September 8 at our special one service time of 10:00 AM
Save some water from any place you visit this summer (far or near or backyard or kitchen sink) for our Annual Water Communion and Mingling of the Waters on September 8 at 10:00 AM. A few drops in a bottle or vial will allow you to participate in this meaningful and ongoing ritual of connection and community.
Note Special One Service Time
Please note your calendars today that our Water Communion Service on Sunday, September 8, will be a one service Sunday. We will all gather at 10:00 AM to be one church family returning to the start of a new church year. Everyone from the 9:15 and 11:00 AM will gather as one at the special time of 10:00 AM.
All Things Summer
Rev. Tim Vacation and Study Leave
Please note that Rev. Tim will begin his 2 weeks of vacation followed by 4 weeks of study leave for deep reading and preparation for the new church year on Sunday, July 7. Rev. Tim will return to the office on Sunday, August 18th.
Summertime Pastoral Care Contacts
In case of a pastoral emergency this summer, Rev. Tim can be reached by contacting a member of our Pastoral Care Team. The Pastoral Care Team Representative will know how to reach Rev. Tim if necessary. During this time the following individuals will be the Pastoral Emergency contacts: Marsha Audette July 7-31 who can be reached at 781.944.8048 and Ruth Goldberg August 1-17 who can be reached at 781.944.6386 or cell phone 781.640.7387.
Summer Worship Service and Fellowship
During the summer we meet for worship every Sunday at the special Summer Service time of 10:00 AM only. The summer worship begins on Sunday, June 23 and ends on Sunday September 1. After summer worship on Sundays we meet for refreshing lemonade in Fellowship Hall.
Summer Office Hours
During July and August the office is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 8AM to 8PM. Please stop in and say hello to Rosemary or call 781 944 0494 if you have any summertime questions.
Summer Worship 2013
Our wonderful lineup of Summer Worship Services will begin on June 23 at 10:00 AM. Our intern minister, Betsy Tabor, will offer a number of services, and other services will be led by various UUCR members. Roald Wilson will again serve as our Summer Music Director.
Summer services are intimate, and feature a wide array of service topics and creative music. For some, it is their favorite services of the year.
