Main Entrance to Sanctuary
Are you planning an important event such as a wedding, a reception, a reunion, or family party? Do you need space for your exercise or dance class? Do you need space for community meetings or support groups? The Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading has several attractive spaces available for rent. All areas are handicapped accessible.
Our newly expanded and redesigned sanctuary is available for wedding ceremonies. It can seat up to 200 guests at your ceremony. An organ and/or piano is available for musical accompaniment, as are the services of our Minister, Organist, and Wedding Coordinator.

The Sanctuary is also available for the presentation of artistic performances which will be enhanced by the use of our state of the art sound system.
Fellowship Hall
The completely new wing of the church, built in 2006, contains a beautiful air-conditioned hall and glass-roofed atrium space suitable for receptions, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, family parties, reunions, instrument recitals, dances, business meetings, seminars, performance and display events. The Fellowship hall will seat up to a maximum of 96 persons (inclusive of all guests and head party) for a sit-down dinner event. A total guest count of 96 will leave a small space for some dancing. A combination of round seating for 72 persons and rectangular seating for 24 persons can provide seating flexibility. A new full service kitchen is adjacent to the hall with ample space and new equipment for your caterer to provide preparation and service of your meal. Sound equipment is available.
The recently refurbished 1500 square-foot Community Hall is suitable for dance classes, exercise groups, karate classes, club or community meetings, special interest classes and children’s birthday parties. With access to a small kitchenette, you can also serve simple refreshments to your gathering.
Loring House
Loring House, the newly redesigned gray Victorian building to the rear of the church, has rooms available for rent and suitable for viewing films to an audience of up to 50 people (monitor provided), club or small group meetings, as a tutoring, counseling, or support group site, or meeting place for afterschool enrichment classes.
