Keeping You Safe at Church

The Safe Congregation Committee is designed to promote the physical, interpersonal and emotional safety of our church community.  This committee works to proactively address issues that involve safety in any form.  Of special attention is the safety of our children and youth, and the church has various policies and procedures in place to protect the most vulnerable among us.  They are a non-judgmental, validating, and empathetic forum designed to hear members’ concerns.  The Safe Congregation Team strives to promote right and respectful relations within the church as well as serve as a liaison to other committees to facilitate honest communication in our efforts to maintain our church as a nurturing, free, safe congregation.
