Finance Committee

The duties of the Finance Committee are discussed in our By-laws - the last line reads, the Committee shall "prepare a recommended annual budget for submission to the Governing Board", and that's our primary activity. We work with all the committees and the minister to understand how much it will cost to run the church for the next year and with the Canvass Committee to determine the potential income from pledges - from that we create a balanced budget that is approved by the Governing Board and by the congregation at our May meeting.
