Committee on Ministry
The Committee on Ministry (COM) consists of up to five members of the Church who meet monthly with the Minister. Our role is to serve as a resource for all members of the congregation, the Minister, Governing Board and leadership on issues and matters pertaining to the overall ministry of the Church.Â
The Committee is responsible for conducting a comprehensive Congregational Self-Assessment Survey every three years (the next one will be conducted in 2011), aiding the Minister and the Governing Board with the Minister’s annual assessment and goals, and, most importantly, serving an overall role to assist in facilitating a healthy and supportive culture in the Church. The members of the COM encourage all members of the Church who have a concern or interest to share their thoughts and suggestions with any member of the Committee.
