MOSAIC (Mosaic of Spiritually and Intellectually Curious) Women’s Spirituality Group meets on Tuesday, May 16th (7:30-9:00 pm) offering “When the Drummers Were Women.” Facilitated this month by Dee Clark, Angela Kraus, and Gail Page, MOSAIC will explore some of the key points from the book When the Drummers Were Women. All will have a chance to look at some of the wonderful historic images from the book, see a variety of percussion instruments, and drum together in community and ritual. The book was written by drummer, teacher, and historian Layne Redmond (1952-2013) after 10 years of research and travel. Everyone is invited to bring items to decorate the altar and percussion instruments to show and/or share. MOSAIC is an open group welcoming anyone inspired by the essence of the divine feminine.
